VO2 Max Is the Number That Predicts How Long You'll Perform. Train It On Purpose.
Cardiovascular fitness is among the strongest predictors of longevity and all-around performance, and it declines every year you don't train it. Whether you're chasing a marathon PR, keeping up on the job site, or building an engine that lasts into your 60s, we program it like a sport.
HOW WE TRAIN IT
Zone-based conditioning
Most of your aerobic work at conversational intensity to build the base, with targeted high-intensity intervals to push VO2 max. No junk miles, no random cardio.
Tracked through your wearable
Garmin, Apple Watch, or Whoop. VO2 max estimates, resting heart rate, and HRV trends show your engine growing month over month, backed by field tests we run at set intervals.
Hybrid programming
Endurance AND strength, periodized together so they build each other instead of competing. This is where generic running plans and generic lifting plans both fail, we program the interference problem out.
Race prep
Several current clients are in marathon and endurance-event prep: goal-race timelines, long-run progression, fueling strategy, taper, and strength maintenance through the build.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
No, aerobic base responds at any age. We start where you are and progress deliberately. Most former athletes are surprised how fast it comes back with structure.
-
Not when it's programmed correctly. That's the entire point of hybrid periodization. Concurrent training done right builds both.
-
Helpful, not required. Field tests and pace-based training work without one.
